Foreclosure Prevention

The objective of Foreclosure Prevention Programs of the Clayton County Foreclosure Resource Center (CCFRC) is to help at-risk Clayton County families maintain home ownership, by providing free access to professional financial, counseling, and related services.

Foreclosure Prevention strategies and tactics, funded by the Housing Authority of Clayton County as the lead agency in the CCFRC, include: (1) public outreach and education in foreclosure prevention, through direct mail, mass media, and other communications; (2) a dedicated hotline for questions, referrals, and counseling; (3) foreclosure prevention workshops and breakout sessions with industry professionals; (4) one-on-one counseling sessions with HUD-approved agencies, and (5) this Web site of public information and community resources, links, etc.
